"Driving Sustainability through Technological Innovation, Creating Long-term Value through Resilient Governance."
"The world is entering a new era of profound uncertainty and, at the same time, abundant opportunity. Climate change, geopolitics, supply chain restructuring, and the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence are redefining corporate competitiveness. For Hon Hai/Foxconn, a truly world-class enterprise must not only possess scale and efficiency but also remain resilient amid change, continuously create value through innovation, and respond responsibly to the expectations of employees, customers, investors, supply chain partners, and society.
Foxconn has always upheld the philosophy that ""Sustainable Operation = EPS + ESG."" EPS represents the enterprise's ability to sustain growth and create value; ESG is the foundation that makes growth enduring, stable, and trusted. The two are not a trade-off but two sides of the same coin. Only by truly integrating sustainability into corporate governance, operational management, and investment decision-making can we transform environmental and social challenges into opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and new growth.
The year 2026 marks an important starting point for Foxconn's next stage of transformation. With artificial intelligence as our core driving force, we are advancing ""Foxconn 1.0 Excellence Transformation, Foxconn 2.0 Digital and Intelligent Empowerment, and Foxconn 3.0 Platform Value Creation,"" and continuing to deepen our ""3+3+3"" development strategy. Artificial intelligence is not only an important growth engine for the Group but will also become a vital tool to enhance energy efficiency, strengthen risk management, improve workplace safety, and increase supply chain transparency. The value of technological innovation lies not only in creating better products but in propelling manufacturing, daily life, and society toward a smarter, lower-carbon, and more inclusive future.
Innovation must be built upon sound governance. Foxconn continues to strengthen the functions of its Board of Directors, risk management, legal compliance systems, information security, and information transparency, and is progressively incorporating sustainability performance into its operational management and decisionmaking mechanisms. What we pursue is not merely regulatory compliance but the building of long-term trust among stakeholders through systems, data, and accountability.
In the face of climate change, we continue to advance energy conservation and carbon reduction, renewable energy, green manufacturing, and the circular economy, steadily progressing toward our goals of 100% green electricity use at global campuses by 2040 and net-zero emissions across the value chain by 2050. At the same time, we regard the natural environment as important capital for the enterprise's long-term development, and we continue to invest in water resource management, waste circularity, biodiversity, and nature conservation, so that corporate growth and the environment form a positive cycle.
Foxconn has an immense operational scale and a worldwide talent team. We deeply understand that the greater an enterprise's influence, the greater its responsibility. Respecting human rights is the bottom line of corporate operations, not an option. We will continue to strengthen workplace health and safety, responsible recruitment, employee communication, and grievance and remediation mechanisms, and build a diverse, inclusive work environment with development opportunities, so that every colleague can work with peace of mind and grow continuously.
An enterprise's sustainability cannot be confined to its own operations; it must extend across the entire value chain. Foxconn will leverage its global manufacturing and supply chain influence, working hand in hand with customers and supplier partners to advance low-carbon transition, responsible business, human rights due diligence, and sustainable innovation. What we look forward to is not merely reducing our own risks but jointly enhancing the resilience and competitiveness of the entire industry together with our partners.
To this end, Hon Hai/Foxconn has officially released its ""2026–2030 Sustainable Long-term Goals,"" establishing a management framework covering 21 categories and 34 strategic actions, centered on six major pillars: Green Intelligence, Circular Economy, Employee Satisfaction, Win-Win Strategy, Governance & Commitment, and Risk & Compliance. This is not merely a checklist of sustainability work, but Foxconn's commitment over the next five years to comprehensively integrating sustainability into corporate governance, operational decisionmaking, and global deployment. We will continue to enhance corporate resilience through more transparent data, clearer accountability, and more concrete actions, creating a win-win outcome of both business value and sustainable value.
The value of an enterprise comes not only from the revenue it generates today, but also from what it can leave behind for industry, society, and the environment in the future.
I would like to sincerely thank every colleague of Foxconn around the world who has always upheld the spirit of ""integrity, diligence, and agility"" and devoted their full effort to every task. I also thank our global customers, partners, investors, and all stakeholders for their trust and support. It is because we have all journeyed together that Foxconn has been able to break through and grow continuously.
Looking ahead, Foxconn will uphold the attitude of ""delivering on our promises, and striving for even better,"" driving sustainability through technological innovation, building trust through excellent governance, and joining hands with all sectors in the spirit of ""sharing, cooperation, and mutual prosperity,"" steadily advancing toward our goal of becoming a comprehensive, world-class company of excellence, and jointly building a more resilient, lower-carbon, and more inclusive sustainable future."

The Sustainability Committee reports quarterly to the Board of Directors on sustainability implementation outcomes and future work plans. The reports cover:
1. The identification of sustainability issues requiring attention and corresponding action plans;
2. Recommendations for revisions to sustainability-related goals and policies;
3. The oversight of the implementation of sustainable management matters and the assessment of their execution, with continuous improvement based on feedback from the Board of Directors.
On the execution side, the Group operates in accordance with a three-tier sustainability governance structure, under which sub-groups, regional headquarters, central campuses, and various ESG-related functional units take on and break down the Group's sustainability goals, driving the planning, execution, and performance feedback of individual sites and units—thereby forming a complete implementation chain spanning governance oversight, strategy formulation, and execution management.
